As a family photographer in Copenhagen, my role is to quietly document those connections as they naturally unfold, without rushing or over-directing.

Copenhagen offers a beautiful mix of calm parks, historic streets, and waterfront spaces that allow families to simply be together. During a session, the focus is on presence and connection — small gestures, shared laughter, and the subtle moments that define your family at this stage of life.

LOCATIONS FOR THE FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT IN COPENHAGEN?

Over time, I’ve developed a few carefully planned routes that work especially well for families. Each route includes three to four nearby locations and is designed for a comfortable 30–90 minute session, with room to slow down if needed.

Route 1: Royal Copenhagen

We begin family photoshoot at Nyhavn, where colourful buildings and open space allow children to move freely. From there, we continue toward Amalienborg Palace, followed by a short walk to the peaceful Marble Church.The session usually ends in King’s Garden, a calm green space that works beautifully for natural family moments.

Route 2: Royal Copenhagen

This route suits families who enjoy quieter corners and historic surroundings. We start at Gammel Strand, continue through Magstræde, and move toward Christiansborg Palace.
We often finish near the Royal Stables, where architecture and light come together naturally.

Family photoshoots typically last between 30 and 90 minutes. If children need extra time or breaks, sessions can be extended without stress.

King’s Garden and Nyhavn work especially well thanks to open space and visual variety. Areas around Amalienborg and the Marble Church also offer calm surroundings with plenty of room to move.

Family sessions start from 3,000 DKK, depending on session length and selected package.

Absolutely. Feeding, changing, or simply slowing down is always part of the process when photographing families.

Neutral tones and simple textures work well in Copenhagen’s surroundings. I’m happy to offer guidance once your session is booked.

That’s completely normal. Sessions are designed to adapt to children, not the other way around. Often the most meaningful photos happen in between planned moments.
